Led by Co-Discoverer Gary Tenen and Dr. Bob Casavant, AZ State Parks Science & Research Manager, Cave Resource Manager, Kartchner Caverns State Park, Assoc. Research Prof, Dept. MGE, University of Arizona.
- Experience the caverns much the way the Discoverers did with stops to discuss and ask questions.
- Minimal lighting, some flashlights and carbide lamps
- Tour will be on existing paved trails; however participants will spend more time underground and standing than on the standard tours
- Limited to fifteen (15) people
- No one under age 18
- Includes photo with Gary Tenen
- Light dinner following tour at the Cave Unit headquarters
- Following the tour, thank you letter/tax deductible receipt to each participant will be sent from FKCSP
- $150 per person, all proceeds to Friends of Kartchner Caverns State Park ($100 tax-deductible)
